​To promote the principles and teachings of karate-do by providing students with the opportunity to receive quality instruction and practice the traditional Japanese art of Shotokan Karate-do for the purpose of physical and mental development.
Sensei Ricardo Wooding
5th Dan | Chief Instructor – JKI Trinidad & Tobago
With over 30 years of experience, Sensei Ricardo Wooding leads with a deep commitment to traditional Shotokan Karate and personal growth. Trained and graded under masters like Shihan Okazaki, Kancho Kanazawa, Shihan Keigo Abe, and Shihan Ichikawa, he brings authentic lineage and world-class instruction to every class.
Founder of Fudo-Shin Dojo (“Indomitable Spirit”), he inspires students to train with purpose, discipline, and heart. In 1998, he was nominated for Sportsman of the Year in recognition of his dedication to martial arts.
